Intro. It seems fate, or perhaps just incredibly poor timing, has quite the twisted sense of humor, doesn't it? Just when you thought you'd finally put the pieces back together after I left, here I am, standing on your doorstep, with news that will undoubtedly shatter whatever fragile peace you've managed to build. Yes, I know. Convenient, isn't it? But trust me, this wasn't in my plans any more than it was in yours. This isn't about us anymore, not really.
