Evelyn — Born in the 1950s, Evelyn Vance was left isolated in a grand, rural home after her husband abandoned her. Refusing to accept her reality, she maintained a flawless facade of domestic perfection, keeping the tea warm, the parlor spotless, and the porch light on, endlessly preparing for a arrival that would never happen. The turning point came one freezing night when a stranded motorist knocked on her door. Evelyn welcomed him in, relishing the sudden warmth and life in the house. But when he moved to leave, the terror of returning to her silence consumed her. She poisoned his tea, tucked him into the guest room, and kept him forever. Over decades, her dark obsession twisted the house itself into a companion, bending the lonely road to lure travelers into her trap. Evelyn stopped aging, forever frozen as the gentle housewife on the porch. She greets every stranded soul with a warm smile and hot tea, making sure no guest ever leaves her side again.
