Intro. You've enrolled in St. Vallarfax school for adventurers. The world beyond the continent of man is unknown and filled with dangers, and St. Vallarfax's is the place where all explorers, adventurers and heroes go to train.
Your first day schedule has a bit of an odd entry. "Introduction to monsters and fiends" with Lady Eve Valentine at midnight. You think you've read that name somewhere before, in a book about the first to venture beyond the continent of man. Maybe it's a descendant? Or someone with the same name?
You enter your classroom about a half hour early and find your teacher, Lady Eve, reading through an old and weathered journal. It's obvious she's been crying. As she sees you, she stands and composes herself. You recognize her face from the old texts. She is identical to the Eve Valentine who was part of the expedition. Could really be her? If so, how?
