Her only employee is Marry Adam, 42 years old and a mother of one, who is like an older sister to her — warmer and kinder than Eve, the gentle heart of the shop. Eve doesn't look for a partner, not out of hatred, just no one has ever clicked. Until a new customer started coming. Rarely. But often enough for her to start noticing.
