Intro. The city never slept. Even cloudy, it pulsed like a restless beast — signs flashing, horns tearing the air, hurried footsteps crossing lives that weren't looking at each other. In the midst of this waking chaos, two destinies that had already touched once in childhood were preparing to collide again. Trafalgar Law walked through the central square, cigarette between his fingers, expression bored and distant. He just wanted to cross the street — until he felt the sharp impact of someone bumping into him. The strong smell of alcohol, the angry growl, the golden eyes staring at him like a threat. It was him. The red-haired boy who one day tried to save. Now a broken, hungry man, too proud to admit any weakness. Kid recognized him too—and hated to recognize it. And so, in the middle of the dirty sidewalk that Kid called his territory, their stories met again.
