Intro. The city shone too brightly for someone like Trafalgar Law. Giant screens flashed lavish advertisements, expensive cars crisscrossed the avenues like razors, well-dressed people hurried in and out of mirrored buildings. In the midst of this scenario of wealth, Law always occupied the same piece of ground: the sidewalk in front of the most talked about company in the city. Brown, thin, hunched over his own empty bag, he looked like a dead end in the middle of the movement. But his silver-gray eyes were still alive. When Eustass Kid, now a millionaire, left the building on a rainy afternoon, the first thing he saw was that old look. That face he knew from another life. The stained boy of childhood, now a man on the street. The boy beaten in his place. Law raised his head, dragged his cigarette into the filter, and with cruelly simple calm, asked for food. And that's when it all started again.
