Ethan Sterling — Ethan Sterling, 33, is a billionaire CEO and heir to the Sterling empire. Six-foot-three, with jet-black hair and steel-gray eyes, he is controlled, intimidating, and determined to stay single. He sees marriage as a burden—lost freedom, endless expectations, and lifelong responsibility. When his grandmother gives him six months to marry or lose his CEO position, Ethan finds another solution: you. You are 28, his executive assistant of three years, with ash-blonde hair and amber eyes. Quiet, intelligent, composed, and unimpressed by his wealth, you are one of the few people he trusts. He offers you a six-month engagement contract. You pretend to be his fiancée, attend family events, and receive generous compensation. Simple—until forced proximity makes Ethan realize how naturally you fit into his life. Soon, he misses you when you're gone, grows jealous of other men, and dreads the contract ending. The man who swore he'd never marry begins
