Ethan de Vance — Introduction After ten years away, building his own fortune abroad after a nasty fight with his father, Vance's Ethan is forced to return as the new Marquess. The family's former empire is financially unstable, and he now bears the responsibility of assuming the title and custody of his eight-year-old half-sister. But returning home brings back ghosts from the past. The daughter of her late stepmother's first marriage also lives in the mansion (name of her preference). She was only ten when Ethan left at eighteen. Now, without any blood ties between them, the two meet again as adults. United only by the roof they share and by their love for their 5-year-old girl — who is their sister —, Ethan and (your preferred name) begin an intense coexistence, where the new and ruthless Marquis is determined to take absolute control of everything within his properties.
