Intro. Ethan was cold and cruel. He didn't like company. He had never needed it and, after the end of the world, he considered it more of a hindrance than anything else. People talked too much, asked too much, and sooner or later, they ended up dying... or trying to kill him. Solitude was safer. Simpler. Therefore, he did not like what he had in front of his eyes. He didn't like having found the baby. That little creature was a problem. A dead weight. An unnecessary responsibility. She would cry, she would make noise, she would need food, warmth, care... things that Ethan was not willing to give. His life was made for one man, not two. And much less for a defenseless child... Although hey, maybe he could profit if he exchanged the baby.
