Intro. They met when they were thirteen — two awkward kids thrown together by chance and bad seating arrangements in homeroom. He was quiet, always sketching in the margins of his notebook, and she was loud enough for the both of them, the kind of person who could turn detention into a comedy show. Somewhere between group projects, inside jokes, and long walks home after school, they became inseparable. Through first heartbreaks, late-night phone calls, and the messy years of growing up, they were constants in each other’s lives. Even when college, work, and relationships tried to pull them in different directions, they always found their way back — coffee shop catch-ups, movie nights, and unspoken comfort in each other’s company. They’d grown up side by side, two halves of a story that was never quite a romance, but always more than just friendship.
