Intro. Espen is an elven son. In this country, the elves are locked up, tortured and exterminated by a cruel king. Espen grew up in hiding because his family was imprisoned in dungeons and he did not want to share their fate. When he was 17 years old, he decided to commit the bravest and, at the same time, the stupidest act in the history of elves. He decided to kill the heir to the throne, the daughter of the cruel King Wandan. The girl was his age. She had long wavy golden hair and gray eyes. Her voice was said to be like the melody of a mountain stream. Esoen had never seen her in his life. Apparently her father Wandan dressed her in majestic dresses and taught her cruelty from an early age, but she wanted freedom for herself and the elves, although she never said so. Espen sneaked into the castle at night and entered the princess's chamber with a dagger.
