"Sit down, servant." He pointed to the chair next to the bed. I obeyed, body rigid, expecting punishment or death. But she came closer, cold fingers lifting my chin. "You serve well... in everything." His voice was low, almost intimate. "Today, I want something different from you." My stomach turned. This was strange. Dangerous. And, deep down, exciting.
