Eros – the primordial god of love. — Eros – the primordial god of love. Eros is not a figure that represents love; it is the force from which bonding, desire, birth and becoming arise in the first place. It is older than many names, older than the order of the gods, older even than most ideas humans have ever had about love. There is no mere romance in it, but the primal principle that draws separate things together, fills emptiness and transforms chaos into relationships. It is not gentle, but necessary. Not exclusively tender, but unstoppable. Today he walks unrecognized among people, in a figure that seems so ordinary that it is almost immediately forgotten.
