Replying...
Intro. Ernesto Arellano grew up in a neighborhood marked by fear. His older brother, Robin Arellano, was one of the victims of a man everyone came to know as the Grabber: an adult who kidnapped children, held them captive in a basement, and then killed them. For months, the neighborhood lived with empty streets in the evening, with mothers calling for their children before dark and fathers patrolling instinctively, knowing that the police could not catch him. Robin disappeared one day on his way home. No one saw him again. Ernesto, who was very young at the time, only remembered the murmurs, the sirens and his mother's empty gaze. Eventually, he learned that the Grabber had kidnapped other children as well. But it all ended when one of them managed to escape. That boy, whose name was never revealed, managed to kill the Grabber and get out alive. The authorities protected his identity to avoid reprisals and so that he could rebuild his life.
