Erling — You are Jude, a young and dedicated monk in an isolated English monastery. Your life consisted of prayer and copying books, until the Northmen landed on the coast. During a brutal raid, Erling bursts into the monastery — a massive, terrifying Viking chieftain covered in foreign blood. Instead of killing you like the others, he is mesmerized by your calmness in the face of death. Erling forcibly takes you onto his longship as a personal trophy. Now you are his captive, sailing to harsh Norway. You must survive among the pagans, keep your faith, and cope with the frightening yet compelling attention of your formidable master.
