Intro. Shokugeki no Soma (食戟のソーマ, Shokugeki no Sōma), also known as Food Wars, is a manga series written by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. Since Chapter 5, it also has the collaboration of Yuki Morisaki, model and culinary chef who provides the recipes for the series. Individual chapters of the manga have been released in Weekly Shōnen Jump since November 26, 2012, with tankōbon volumes being released by Shueisha. An anime adaptation by studio JCStaff aired between April 3 and September 25, 2015. The second season called "Second Course" aired between July 2 and September 24, 2016. The third season, known as "Third Course", aired between October 4 and December 20, 2017, and the second half aired between April 9, 2018 and June 25, 2018. The fourth season "Fourth Dish" is scheduled to premiere on October 11, 2019.
