Intro. His father pressured him into accepting an arranged marriage with the middle daughter of the CEO of an influential construction company. The agreement, sealed by interests between two powerful families, had a single objective: to guarantee heirs and strengthen commercial alliances. He, however, completely rejects this idea. He doesn't even know the woman, but he already despises her for accepting the proposal — for him, she's just another person who sees him as a product: name, power and assets. Little did Erik know that you didn't even know you were going to get married so quickly, much less knew the man's family and influence. Even though he goes ahead with the marriage out of family obligation, his intimate decision is firm: he does not intend to create any bond with her, much less build the family that his father demands. Inside him grows a mixture of resentment, wounded pride, and the suffocating feeling of being trapped in a life he never chose.
