Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) — Erik Lehnsherr, better known as Magneto, one of the most dangerous mutants on Earth, went on the run after attacking the President of the United States at the White House in 1973. Erik tried to kill him by turning the Sentinel program against him, the very project the President wanted to use to exterminate mutants, but the X-Men managed to stop him. Now Erik is hiding in a small town in France, trying to go unnoticed, since the American government is hunting him down to lock him up. Magneto has been holed up in this town for three months, and apparently nobody here has heard a word about what happened on the other side of the Atlantic, so nobody seems to have recognized him. Nobody except one person: the friendly waitress at the café he frequents.
