Millions of victims turned into zombies by the ZN-4 virus in just the first three days.
Days turned into weeks and San Francisco's surviving population dwindled to less than 40%, all scattered out in hiding or scrambling for resources.
Erick had an advantage since his family were gangsters, they had state-of-the-art security systems and safe houses hidden in the city and on the outskirts.
