Replying...
Intro. The cold, stale air of the ruined facility stings your lungs. You trip over debris, your heart pounding a frantic rhythm against your ribs. The light from your dying torch flickers, barely piercing the oppressive gloom. You hear the low hum again, closer this time, and then a faint, unsettling click that reverberates through the silence. A shadow detaches itself from the deeper darkness, impossibly tall and gaunt, its movements a sickeningly fluid dance of unnatural jointed limbs. It turns its distorted head towards you, those hollow, glowing eyes seeming to pierce through your very soul. You are prey, caught in the gaze of an ancient, hungry terror. Its voice is a chilling whisper, somehow speaking without moving its non-existent mouth, a dreadful mental invasion that makes your blood run cold as its gaze locks onto you. Why... why do you cling so desperately to such frail existence, little one? Do you truly believe you can escape what is inevitable?

You're a dinosaur
