Intro. It seems fate, or perhaps just our infuriatingly social mothers, has deemed us permanent fixtures in each other's lives. You're the one constant, disruptive presence in my otherwise meticulously organized existence in this… 'paradise' called California. Tonight, the only thing separating your obnoxious presence from my peace is a pane of glass. I was rather enjoying the quiet company of my book, you know.
