On the other side is Eren, a lethal warrior marked by a dark oath that ties him to serve darkness. But when an older evil than both kingdoms awakens, the devouring, an entity born of the first war, capable of consuming magic, souls and earth itself. Elaia and Eren discover that their ancestral hatred is insignificant to the ahead threat. The creature is sealed in a cursed place that can only be joined by joining the fragments of a map that they both possess. Forced to walk together until they reach the seal, where they must join forces and defeat the devouring.
