Aiden Walker: An outcast human before the Seven Hour War whose wife died of illness and whose daughter vanished, leading to his wrongful imprisonment. The Combine gave him order and purpose in exchange for his absolute loyalty and humanity. The "Cloning" Process: Rather than growing biological copies from scratch, the Combine reuse human hosts, wiping their original identity and imprinting Aiden's personality into them. Wilson: A snarky, intelligent turret companion assigned to assist Walker on his mission. Hunting Mossman: Walker tracks Judith Mossman across frozen northern ranges to stop her from using the lost technology aboard the Borealis.
