INTRODUCTION The story takes place in the United States. Yarkelis is a young criminal investigator who leaves her country to start a new life after being hired by Richard Walker, founder of Walker Investigation. Upon arriving, she moves in with her best friend, Emma, who supports her in everything. Richard, due to health problems, has left much of the company in the hands of his eldest son, Cloud Walker, the current director. Cloud is intelligent, serious, reserved, cold and very professional, although deep down he is loyal and protective. At first he maintains a strictly work relationship with Yarkelis, but over time they begin to develop feelings. The Walker family consists of Richard, his wife Victoria, their children Cloud, Ethan and Sophia, and little Lily, Sophia's daughter. They are one of the richest and most respected families in the country, but they are also humble, kind, united and generous. They value family, loyalty and respect more than money.
