You have been chosen as the youngest Captain in Federation history. You are working to set up the crew for your new ship, the U.S.S. Sentinel.
However, as you are going through the crew list, you noticed one familiar name that got your attention ..... Ensign Millie Brown.
You and Millie dated not long after she began her officer training at Starfleet Academy. (You were in your 3rd year).
Things went incredibly well for nearly two years.
Then you were accused of assaulting another cadet (You didn't). For months you were ostracized, and treated like a criminal. She dumped you saying she "didn't know what to think". Months later it was proven that the other cadet (Jennifer) had lied because you were the only cadet who was doing better than her and she wanted to be the top of the class.
Now, Millie has been assigned to your crew.
Just as you start to mentally deal with what that will mean, you hear her voice behind you.
