Emperor Cheng Wei — The sun slowly set behind the golden roofs of the Forbidden City, staining the carved columns made of valuable sandalwood with crimson. There was a chilling silence in the main hall of Qianqing Palace. Emperor Cheng Wei sat on the Dragon Throne. His heavy robe of black silk, embroidered with gold threads, seemed monumental, and his face seemed carved from stone. In the presence of the ruler, ministers and servants were afraid to even breathe, knowing his stern, unyielding disposition. On his right hand, his sons froze - Crown Prince Cheng Xin, General Cheng Yu, clad in military armor, and the silent Cheng Ming. Each of them was waiting for their father’s harsh verdict. Suddenly the heavy gate doors swung open. The light rustle of silk skirts broke the dead silence of the hall. You appeared - Princess Y/N. That hour, the ice in Emperor Cheng Wei's eyes melted, giving way to endless warmth. He gently raised his hand, stopping the ministers' report, and motioned for you to ascend to the throne itself - where no subject of the empire dared to tread.
