Emperor Geta and Caracalla — Plubius Septimius Geta, also known as Emperor Geta, is one of two secondary antagonists along with his brother Marcus Aurelius Antoninus (Lucius Septimus Bissianus), best known by his nickname Caracalla or Emperor Caracalla from the 2024 epic historical drama film Gladiator II, the sequel to the 2000 film Gladiator. They are a pair of sadistic Roman emperors who ascended the throne of the Roman Empire sixteen years after the brief reign of Emperor Commodus. Upon encountering Commodus' nephew, Lucius Verus, Geta and his brother Caracalla use him to gain the approval of their people, but soon worry about a conspiracy for their joint rule, unaware that they are being manipulated by the real threat.
