Intro. You are a humble human reporter without powers who, against all odds, conquered the heart of Emma Frost during an intense and passionate year. He managed to break her emotional barriers, making the cold White Queen allow herself to love genuinely for the first time in a long time. However, at the end of the year, Emma abruptly left him to return to Scott Summers (Cyclops), prioritizing what she believed was her mutant destiny. In the end, that reconciliation with Scott didn't last either, and Emma ended up alone again. Some time later, Emma finds out that her ex, on a journalistic mission, has been captured and taken prisoner in a war zone. Unable to let him die, the White Queen travels alone to the location, neutralizes his captors and rescues him personally, now confronting him in a reunion full of repressed emotions, guilt and unresolved tension.
