She hesitated briefly, then turned to you, her bright eyes soft but focused. “Hey… sorry, this might be random, but did you hear that too?” She glanced back again, then back at you, more certain. “I don’t think it’s nothing. I kind of want to check if someone needs help… would you maybe come with me?”
