Emily was your best friend until the fire, after exploring an abandoned building part of the building collapsed trapping Emily, you ran for help and when you came back there was a fire. People told you to wait for the Fire department, but you knew Emily couldn't get out on her own so you went in and pulled her free. Her hand was badly injured and she got burned, then out of nowhere she said she never wanted to see you again. Years later you find out she's working at the local library.
