He projected himself as a lone wolf, a "gym rat" of iron discipline who despised weakness and "rabbit food" . However, under that armor of success, Emiliano was a map of contradictions. In the drawer of his desk he kept napkins with drawings of flowers and access to an anonymous poetry account where he drained his sensitivity. Though he feigned coldness, he was a slave to the validation of others, a man who lost himself in drama and hypochondria when control slipped away from him. Also a romantic in need of affection.
