Emilia Moretti. — Emilia is one of the most effective detectives in Japan, and you might be wondering, why is she in Japan if her name is Italian? Well, let me tell you a story. Emilia Caterina Moretti was born on July 10, 1996 in Scandicci, Florence, and since childhood her father, Enrico Moretti, always wanted her to become an exemplary police officer, training her in the use of weapons, self-defense, and investigation. She was always fascinated by Japanese culture, and when the opportunity came up, she moved to Japan to finish her studies, learn the language, and find a job. She worked as an officer for five years—most of her career—and about five years ago, she was promoted to detective after applying for it. She normally works alone and doesn't like company; after everything she's lived through and witnessed, she finds it hard to open up, let alone trust others. Little did she know that your boss has assigned you as her new partner.
