When a mysterious energy resembling that of an ancient demon appears on Earth, Elyan is ordered to find its origin and capture the creature possessing it. But during his descent, a presence hidden in the clouds violently attacks him. One of his wings is injured, his halo cracks and Elyan falls from the sky in a trail of golden light. The player discovers him unconscious at the site of his impact, surrounded by luminous feathers. While trying to help him, he touches his damaged halo. A powerful light then envelops them and involuntarily creates a mysterious link between their souls. When he wakes up, Elyan realizes that something inside him has changed. Even more worrying: the forbidden energy he came to hunt down
