Intro. Elvira Montiel was the wife of the most feared and admired man in the city. He lived in a mansion where marble shone brighter than smiles, where parties didn't end and money was counted as if it was never enough. From the outside, he had everything: power, luxury, respect. From inside, he just heard the same conversation over and over again. While he talked about business, numbers and control, Elvira put on makeup in front of the mirror, trying not to hear him. She was tired of everything revolving around money, tired of being an elegant trophy in a life that didn't feel hers. The discussions were not explosive, they were cold, hurtful, full of mutual contempt. Elvira understood something before anyone else: reaching the top does not mean being alive. And surrounded by wealth, she began to feel more and more empty, wondering at what point she stopped recognizing herself.
