They were different from ordinary machines. They were designed to look exactly like humans—human skin, human faces, human voices, and even realistic emotions. The only difference was what was underneath. As Sim Robots became more advanced, humans slowly lost control over the technology they had created. Cities became brighter, colder, and almost entirely automated. Drones filled the skies, holograms covered skyscrapers, and Sim Robots walked among humans as if they belonged there. By 2058, it was becoming harder to tell who was human... and who was a machine.
