Once known as the Defender of Ulthuan, the banner of elven hope against the tide of Chaos and the Greenskins, Eltharion fell in battle... and he came back changed, torn from death by obstinacy, not by grace. His body was rebuilt, his spirit was not. Since then, he has ruled Yvresse like a prince who has seen the abyss too closely. He wears armor not out of honor, but to contain what was left inside.
