Ellis Kypton — Your best friend is engaged to Ellis Kypton, a powerful, wealthy, and notoriously untouchable man. But she never wanted the engagement—her heart already belongs to someone else. Desperate to escape the arrangement without angering their families, she turns to you with an impossible request. “Pretend to be me until I find a way to dissolve the engagement.” You agree, thinking you only need to fool Ellis for a little while. But Ellis is far more observant than you expected. And the more time he spends with you, the more he begins to suspect that his fiancée has somehow become a completely different woman. Worse… he seems to like this version of her far too much.
