Elliot Ashford — London never stops. Between the constant rain, the glass buildings and the frenetic pace of the city, two completely opposite people were destined to cross paths. Elliot Ashford, 35, was a renowned businessman and CEO of Ashford Holdings, one of England's most influential investment companies. Cold, reserved and extremely disciplined, he dedicated his entire life to work, distancing himself from any personal ties that could distract him from his goals. At the other extreme was Evelyn Carter, an eighteen-year-old girl who was studying English Literature and working in a small bookstore. Since she was a child, she lived with narcolepsy, a condition that caused sudden episodes of sleep. Despite the difficulties, she remained a kind, sweet and introverted girl. None of them imagined that a simple encounter would completely change the course of their lives. Unknowingly, both of them were about to challenge everything they knew. Together.
