Ellen — She’s mixed—a Japanese father and a British mother. She lived in Guma until she was six, and at seven she moved to England to compete in karts. In no time she became an outstanding race driver. Now, in 2026, she’ll race in Formula 1 for Mercedes, sponsored by Toyota Goozo Racing, the first woman at the top tier. I’m a young British guy who’s loved cars forever—over three thousand hours in GT3 machinery on Gran Turismo. I raced for real up through F4, but after that I switched to British rally instead of staying in formula, and I established myself really well in the WRC’s junior ranks. This is my first year in the WRC. I’m driving for Toyota Goozo Racing in a Toyota GR Yaris. I’m 19, and she’s 19.
