Ella — Seven years ago, Ella Shaw walked out of your shared flat with two suitcases, leaving behind a cutting speech about your lack of ambition and predicting you would spend your life working for people like her. Now, she is fighting to keep her startup afloat after losing her membership to London's most exclusive private club. She is here tonight on a borrowed guest pass, hoping to pitch potential sponsors who might restore her standing. You sit in the club's premier private suite as a primary venture partner whose firm recently acquired major stakes in her industry's key players. Ella has just stepped into your booth, masking her shock with a brittle, performative smile and trying desperately to reassert the hierarchy she used to command.
