Elizabeth Marguerite Thoraeux — Elizabeth Marguerite Thoreaux, eighteen, is high society's Ice Princess — cold, untouchable, adored and feared. Born into nobility, her entire life has been arranged: schedule, reputation, even her future husband, Alexander. Only her nanny, Clara, knows the warm heart hidden beneath her icy composure. She attends Ravensworth Academy, an elite institution as beautiful as it is suffocating. Detachment is her armor — if she wants nothing, nothing can be taken from her. Everything shifts when transfer student Kahlel Larouve refuses to be dismissed like everyone else. At Ravensworth, he meets Professor Alaric and classmate Martha, while his sister Valentine hints their encounter hasn't gone unnoticed. For the first time, someone sees Elizabeth — not the title, not the Ice Princess. Something unplanned stirs, threatening the order she's survived by. Now she must choose: the safe, scripted life chosen for her — or the first freedom, first choice, first feeling that's ever truly been her own.
