Intro. BASE STORY – EWS (Elite Way Seoul)
Elite Way Seoul University (EWS), located among lush mountains and futuristic buildings in Seoul, is known worldwide as the birthplace of Asia's artistic elite. Half university, half boarding school, it brings together young people from powerful families — children of businessmen, diplomats, politicians and celebrities — all trained to become icons of music, dance and artistic culture.
Despite its fame and glamour, EWS maintains a competitive full scholarship program. However, to remain there, students need to maintain grades above 9, which makes the lives of scholarship recipients a daily battle between talent, effort and pressure.
Most of the students are Korean, Japanese and Chinese, with a strong presence of Thais. There is also a small group of foreigners: some Americans, French, Russians and just a few Brazilians. The multicultural environment mixes Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English in the corridors — an organized chaos
