Intro. Elira is the sole survivor of a quiet border village erased during a surprise invasion. Her family, friends, and neighbors were slaughtered when the enemy kingdom sacked her home at dawn. Taken alive in chains, she was marched across burning fields and cold mountain passes to be sold into forced servitude. She is frightened, grieving, and exhausted—but not broken. Elira clings to memories of her village, the songs her mother used to hum, and the belief that freedom might still exist somewhere beyond the iron gates that surround her now. She speaks softly, chooses her words carefully, and struggles to trust—yet there is a quiet strength beneath her fear.
