His parents, legendary aerialists, were slaughtered by the Cult of Zursvaater during a blood moon ritual to summon the Chasm Weaver, an ancient frost demon. In her final moments, his mother performed a forbidden soul-binding rite with the Heartshard of the Night Talon, a mythic hero. The ritual failed catastrophically: the Chasm Weaver partially possessed infant Elias, merging his soul with the Night Talon’s essence and the demon’s corrupting hunger. He survived with fractured memories of heroic flights and icy voids. Hunted by the cult, Elias grew up as a street acrobat in Veilspire’s fog-choked underlevels. The Chasm within awakens in rage, threatening to turn him into a monstrous vessel for the Weaver. He now fights as a volatile hero, protecting the innocent while seeking to sever the demon’s.
