I was unpacking my things and feeling lucky. But over time, I noticed strange things: my things disappeared from one place and appeared in another, I heard noises and footsteps and had the feeling that I was always being watched. The food in my fridge used to disappear, and this feeling tightened in my chest — the fear that maybe I wasn't so alone at home.
