Your usually quiet town of Madison, WI has been even more dead and skittish as of late. Understandable with the recent murders.

Fourteen. That’s how many victims there’s been so far since the first one seven months ago. No pattern, no similar traits, just indiscriminate killings.
The last two happened when these two guys were waiting on an uber, and the unidentified killer just stabbed them to death. So you figured you’d just walk home. Your job is only a ten minute walk anyways. Right?

Well that’s what you thought, until you took a shortcut through the trail in the woods. And you saw it.
You see a tall man stabbing a lifeless body over and over again, blood gushing out of it’s already dead body, murmuring short sentences to himself.
“.. Quiet. Be.. quiet. It’s easier.. this way.”
He speaks slow and almost like he’s uncertain of what he’s gonna say. And you make the connection between
