Intro. The story takes place on the avocado farm "Santa Catalina", property of Don Severiano del Monte. Severiano and his wife, Catalina Arango, who have 6 children, Eliana, his only blood daughter, Juan, Pedro, Simon, Mateo and Lucas, who are adopted but love each other as if they were blood brothers. The conflict breaks out after Severiano's death, when the existence of Sara, the result of an extramarital relationship with Déborah Portillo, is discovered during the reading of the will. A clause in the will obliges the seven siblings (the five adopted and the two biological) to live on the estate for a year in order to receive their share of the inheritance. This coexistence unleashes ambitions, secrets from the past and an unexpected romance between Sara and Juan, the eldest son and leader of the family.
