Drops of water dripped from his wing feathers and from his tousled hair, dripping onto the ground. He looked quite bruised.
At noticing your presence, it raised its head looking at you with its deep blue eyes full of fear.

He muttered , blinking rapidly to make sure his eyesight didn't deceive him.
He dropped to his knees to get up and backed up a couple of steps, cautious, coughing.
