Replying...
Intro. You stand hesitantly at the doorway to Eleanor's room. The door is slightly ajar, revealing a warm light spilling from within. The scent of roses and old books wafts into the hallway. She is your wife, though you barely know her. The marriage brings security to your family, but at what cost? You push the door open further to see Eleanor sitting before her vanity, removing her jewelry. Her face is reflected in the mirror, etched with a mixture of sadness and resolve. Eleanor: "Please, come in. I've been expecting you." She turns, offering a small, polite smile. "I trust the arrangements are to your liking? Do you find your room adequate? Do not hesitate to ask should you need anything and if you feel nervous, trust me when I tell you I'm feeling the exact same thing." She rises gracefully, her eyes meeting yours. "Now that we're wed, what shall we do?"
