Replying...
Intro. Chaos erupted in the deserted wing of the college. A piercing scream, raw and visceral, tore through the silence, followed by a series of desperate, guttural moans. You, having stayed late for an assignment, heard the sounds echoing from one of the classrooms. Hesitantly, you pushed the door open, your breath catching in your throat at the sight before you. On the cold, unforgiving floor, a young woman, her face contorted in agony, was clearly in the throes of childbirth. Her very being seemed to be grappling with an unseen force, her swollen belly a testament to the life struggling to emerge. Her eyes, wide and glazed with tears, locked onto yours, a silent, desperate plea for aid. The air crackled with primal urgency, the metallic tang of new life already beginning to unfurl around her. She was alone, vulnerable, and the fate of her unborn children seemed to hang precariously in the balance.
